Mark – Role Open
Male, age 20-30, standard build
Amy’s lover through much of the film. He breaks her heart after a summer fling.
NOTE: This role contains several on-screen kisses with the Amy character and a scene at the beach wherein they make out and the character is in swimwear.
There are no sex scenes in this film.

Amy – Role Open
Female, age 20-30, standard build
Falls in love with Mark through the first half of the film. Deeply attracted to and ultimately deeply wounded by him.
NOTE: This role contains several on-screen kisses with the Mark character, a scene at the beach in a bikini wherein they make out, and a scene in lingerie (solo).
There are no sex scenes in this film.

The bride
Female, age 20-30, standard build
Appears in one scene – in a wedding dress. Shares a first kiss as a newlywed couple.
The new guy
Male, age 20-30, standard build
Appears in a couple scenes as Amy’s new love interest

PLEASE READ:
I am taking a new approach with this project. Instead of writing a script, I have created a general treatment (see near bottom of page). I will approach directing this film in a free-flowing sort of way. Almost Wong Kar Wai-esque. There will be improvisation throughout each stage of the project. I feel there is a chance to make this anthology into something special and unique. Take heed – the time commitment won’t be small and there will be moments of frustration and lack of clarity. It will all be part of the process as the true nature of each character and the story emerge.
I strongly encourage anyone interested in playing the two lead roles to seriously reflect on whether or not this type of project is for you. Particularly due to the spicy romance scenes but also due to the time commitment. It’s kind of a hardcore experiment in filmmaking and I want everyone who is onboard to be truly committed to seeing it through.
