A note from DC Brandon
I want to welcome you to my little home on the web called DC Brandon Films! Let me share a little bit about my company.
DC Brandon Films is a film and video production company in Edmonton. We are known for creating heartfelt content with a focus on personal storytelling. Through DC Brandon Films, I work with many talented crew members, actors, writers, models and generally amazing artists from around the city. I honestly couldn't even count the number of amazing people we've worked with over the years. It's in the hundreds for sure!

Filmmaking Experience
With over a dozen years of experience with video production in Edmonton and across Alberta, I've had the pleasure of working on a variety of awesome projects, ranging from corporate video and TV commercials to narrative films and fashion films.
​
I have written and directed many short films over the years and I am a passionate advocate of indie cinema. Many of my short films have been well received on the film festival circuit, with 20 wins for Best Short Film at film festivals in LA, New York, Las Vegas, and London.
Of course, I am proud of being based in Edmonton, and have had shorts play at the Edmonton International Film Festival on a couple of occasions, which I was incredibly proud of. You've probably watched many of our TV ads and corporate work on broadcast TV, YouTube and on corporate websites.

What Drives Me
I think what sets me apart as a filmmaker is my unyielding commitment to emotionally driven storytelling and naturalistic cinematography. I believe that great films are more than just a visual spectacle; they should resonate with viewers on a deeper level and leave a lasting impression.
Whether working with established actors or up-and-coming talent, I strive to create an environment that allows performers to showcase their best work and bring authenticity to every project.

Crew Members
I serve as the director across all film and commercial projects and hire crew locally for each job. Over the years I have developed a strong network of people that I trust in each department on set. I am always open to meeting new people and bringing them on for shoots in smaller roles like PA, so don't hesitate in reaching out.

Actors and Models
I have worked with well over a hundred local actors and models over the years and have an extensive network of contacts that I call upon to cast for commercials, film and other creative projects. I am always happy to give new talent a look, so if you are new or just haven't worked with me before, please do check my casting calls page - I post new projects there on a monthly basis.
